Great news! GFL George has signed the contract with Rootsweb this week! We are now officially affiliated with them (WE WERE, before they were bought out by the FOR PROFIT Ancestry). We have our *own* server and can really build our website and take the Forum "to infinity and beyond"! Rootsweb is excited to have us and we are thrilled to be with them. People can still use the www.genealogyforum.com address. Brenda and her team are working on an index so we don't lose a single tidbit of genealogy information as they continue to transfer information. Hopefully by mid-April the first chat room will open there too. This deal allows us to just branch out in all sorts of new directions so spread the word!
