| Although this was a Kentucky regiment, 64 of its members were recruited in Blountsville, AL. The unit was active in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio. Many of the men were captured at Buffington Island on July 19, 1863 and the rest at New Lisbon, 26 July 1863. They were imprisoned at Camp Douglas, near Chicago, IL. | ||
